Ready for SHOT Show 2024? Zastava Arms AK Rifle and Bullet DressMiona, pictured in a dress of her own design, along with an awesome Zastavas AK.

What a week! Shot Show 2024 has been one for the books, for sure. Now that it’s over, you can almost forget how exhausted you are. Almost, anyway. Honestly though, all the walking and all the work is completely worth it. The experience of attending the world’s largest gun show is not one that you would want to pass on. Witnessing all the new products and innovation, as well as meeting some of the best people on earth are just a few of the benefits of attending. Today was the last day, and even though we did not get to see everything, we did find a final few gems.

Mini Adamas Auto

Benchmade Mini Adamas Auto
Benchmade’s Mini Adamas is a favorite, and now they have an auto version available.

Benchmade’s Mini Adamas knife has been one of our favorite knives. In fact, it’s one of my most often carried knives. Now, Benchmade is coming out with an automatic version of the Mini Adamas. It will have all the same great features and quality of the Mini Adamas except in an automatic blade rather than traditional folder. Also on display at Benchmade’s booth was a custom 3 piece kitchen knife set of a quality that rival’s well-known kitchen knife maker, Wusthof. It’s a pricy set, but beautiful and Benchmade will customize them for you.

Byrna at SHOT Show 2024

Byrna's Less Lethal TCR
Byrna offers quality less lethal products to the general public.

Byrna offers both handgun and rifles in the less-lethal area of self-defense. Their products are well made, and for sale to the general public. Some less lethal retailers will not sell all their products to the public, reserving some of them for law enforcement and the military only. The main difference between Byrna’s handguns and rifles is that the handguns both puncture and fire on the first trigger pull, but it takes two trigger pulls on the rifle to both puncture and fire. For rifles, the first “shot” punctures the gas, and the second “shot” fires a projectile. Pepper ball style guns are not a replacement for self-defense, but they do have their place for some people. If are going to use a less-lethal options, why not a cool sub-gun like this!

Magazine Fed Lever Action

Magazine Fed, Lever Action Rifle by Bear Creek Arsenal
Bear Creek Arsenal’s magazine fed lever action was on display at Shot Show 2024.

In 2023, POF unveiled a brand new concept gun: the magazine fed, lever action rifle in a pistol caliber. It got everyone riled up and downright excited to see something that innovative. However, over a year later it has been met with very mixed reviews. This has not stopped people from liking the concept or companies from trying to see if they can do it better. At Shot Show 2024, at least three other companies had their own version to show off.

Bear Creek Arsenal’s version will be available by the end of the year. The one on display at Shot Show was a prototype only, but still a nice looking gun. Both Henry and Bond Arms also had them on display as well. Henry’s has that classic look that all their products do, and with wood being so hot right now, we really liked the looks of it. It remains to be seen whether these new designs will have worked out the kinks, but we are certainly hoping so!
