
About Jason Mosher
Jason Mosher grew up in southern Missouri and works in law enforcement. He was elected for three terms as a county Sheriff, serving from 2013-2024. Before that, he served as Chief of Police and in other roles such as President of the Southwest Missouri Major Case Squad, and CNET Drug Task Force. He continues to serve in law enforcement today and is a certified firearms instructor and armorer.
Jason holds degrees in criminal justice administration, marketing, business management and agriculture. He graduated from the 294th class of the FBI-LEEDA (FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association). He is a state approved generalist instructor for law enforcement continuing education and a certified crime scene investigator.
Jason started writing during his time as Sheriff when he authored a weekly news column that covered a wide range of law enforcement, public safety, and constitutional subjects. He now writes for multiple online and print organizations.
Jason was contracted by Glock USA, Inc in 2024 to write for the 2025 Glock Annual Magazine and is the primary writer and content creator for Gun Hub News.
Jason’s work includes original photography, photo, and video editing.
