Shot Show 2024, day three. By now, those of us attending the show all week are pretty worn; we are battle fatigued. And we still have more to do. We have reached the point where we are feeling the frenzy of the short time left, while simultaneously being barely able to keep our eyes open. We are living on caffeine, and the coffee shops are doing a “bang-up” job keeping us fed. We saw a lot today, mostly concentrating on the lower level, affectionately known as “the dungeon.”
TASER

Taser is well-known for their law enforcement tools centered around less-lethal options for officer compliance. However, not everyone knows that Taser also has a line of less-lethal self-defense options available to the general public. These include the Pulse, a small gun that fires an electrified projectile; the Bolt 2, which still fires a projectile but is more the shape of a wand; and the Strikelight 2, a flashlight that doubles as a stun gun without a projectile that fires. The Bolt 2 also syncs with an app that is free to download on your phone that will notify law enforcement if used, even providing the authorities with your location.
Magpul Cases

Magpul has always had great products and their cases and other storage options have been as quality and reliable as the rest. However, their new customizable inserts have totally changed the game. Dubbed Daka Grid Blocks, these inserts come in several different sizes and shapes. These include, but are not limited to, two and three length blocks, four block triangles, and three block diagonals. They are compatible with several of Magpul’s cases including the Pelican Vault 800 pictured. As Magpul says, it gives the user “endlessly reconfigurable” options.
Palmetto State Armory

Palmetto State Armory (PSA) is doing something pretty cool at Shot Show 2024. The company has displayed more than a few concept guns which it is asking customers to vote on. This vote will determine the priority given to the concept guns for production. PSA is literally letting you choose what you want them to make. As the company says, they can do anything, but they can’t do everything; so instead of deciding themselves, they are asking customers to weigh in. How awesome!
One of the concept guns on display is the .45 Tactical Dagger. The new Daggers have been updated to be more ergonomic and have a higher capacity for ammo. The Tactical will also come optics and suppressor ready. It’s a smart-looking gun that I think should be high on their priority list – so go vote!
Tomorrow is the last day of Shot Show 2024. We are going to do our best to get around to all the booths we can. It may take more caffeine than we’ve ever ingested in a single day, but we are determined to make the most out of this amazing experience. If you’re just now tuning in to this series, make sure to check out our range day, first day on the floor, and second day on the floor articles. Is it too early to say we are already looking forward to next year?
